50-minute individual therapy sessions
Like many specialty practices, I do not participate in insurance plans. Working on a private-pay basis allows for greater flexibility, privacy, and continuity of care, without the constraints often required by insurance providers.
At this time, all sliding scale spots are full.
I work with women from adolescence through adulthood who appear high-functioning on the outside but struggle internally with anxiety, body image concerns, disordered eating patterns, and self-doubt. Many of my clients are driven and self-aware, yet feel caught in cycles of perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, or rigid patterns around food and self-control.
Yes. As a Christian and a therapist, I offer the option to integrate faith-based principles with evidence-based therapy for clients who desire this approach. Faith integration is always optional and client-led.
Therapy can help if you feel anxious, are critical of your body, or struggle with low self-esteem and self-doubt. Many women who benefit from this work have difficulty setting boundaries, feel pulled into people-pleasing, or notice these patterns beginning to affect their relationships, sense of balance, or overall well-being. Disordered eating patterns or a complicated relationship with food may also be part of this experience.
Your first session is a space to slow down and get grounded. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re struggling with, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, patterns, and history, but there’s no pressure to share everything at once.
We’ll also discuss how I work, what therapy might look like moving forward, and whether this feels like a good fit. The first session is as much about you getting a feel for the process as it is about beginning the work in a supportive, collaborative way.
Sessions are 50 minutes. Frequency varies depending on your needs, but many clients begin with weekly or bi-weekly sessions and adjust as progress is made.
Individual therapy sessions are $225 per 50-minute session.
Payment is due at the time of service.
Our secure online system accepts all major credit and debit cards, and most HSA and FSA cards can be used for payment.
I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Some clients may choose to use insurance through third-party platforms, depending on availability.
Please note that when insurance is used, a mental health diagnosis is required by the insurance company in order to process claims.
Many clients choose to work with me on a private-pay basis to maintain greater flexibility, privacy, and continuity of care. Superbills can be provided upon request for clients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement varies by plan and is determined by your insurance provider.
If you’re unsure whether your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, we recommend calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card to confirm your coverage.
You may also choose to use a service like Thrizer, which can help simplify the process of submitting out-of-network claims and seeking reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Getting started is simple. If you’re interested in working together, you can begin by reaching out through the contact form to request an initial consultation.
If you plan to use out-of-network benefits and would like an estimate of potential reimbursement, you’re welcome to check your benefits using the secure calculator below. This step is optional and not required to begin therapy.
