Our practice is grounded in the belief that emotional wellness is essential to living a balanced, fulfilling life, and that therapy should feel both compassionate and practical.We support clients navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions through care that is personalized, collaborative, and growth-oriented.

Many of the teen girls and young women (20s and 30s) I work with feel this way. They are high functioning, responsible, and driven, yet internally feel overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, or unsure of themselves.

Hi, I’m Erika

I am a bilingual Licensed Psychotherapist and Qualified Supervisor with over 11 years of experience, and the founder of Lifeway Counseling and Consulting.

I specialize in working with teen girls and women in their 20s and 30s navigating anxiety, perfectionism, self esteem, body image, disordered eating, and relationship patterns.

My work focuses on helping you understand what is driving these experiences so you can feel more grounded, confident, and secure in who you are.

Faith integrated therapy

For clients who desire it, I offer a Christian faith integrated approach to therapy.

This can include exploring identity, worth, and purpose through a spiritual lens in a way that feels aligned and supportive.

Faith is never assumed or imposed. It is integrated only if it feels meaningful to you.

My approach

Therapy with me is not about fixing you.

It is about helping you understand yourself in a deeper and more meaningful way.

I take an integrative, trauma informed approach, combining evidence based therapies such as CBT and Solution Focused Therapy with a deeper understanding of attachment, identity, and emotional patterns.

In a serene and tranquil setting, a group of empowered women gathers for a wellness retreat, embracing holistic healing. Radiating calmness and strength, engaging in activities that promote wellness, women's health, and overall empowerment.

A bit more about me:

My background

I received my Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Florida International University in Miami, FL.

I began my career in education, where I saw firsthand how many students were navigating emotional challenges beyond what was visible.

This led me into the mental health field, where I have worked across school-based programs, community mental health, residential programs, and outpatient settings.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and have supported adolescents and women across a range of environments, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), and Intuitive Eating (IE).

I use an integrative approach, meaning that I will use a combination of therapeutic techniques depending on what you need. Because therapy shoudn't be a one-size fits all.
